FLUID FILM, the Ideal Choice for Landscape Maintenance
Lawn & Garden equipment is in constant exposure to such highly corrosive substances as fertilizers, pesticides, heavy rains and high humidity. The best protection from these elements is a systematic maintenance program. Neglected equipment can cost time, money and lead to early replacement of the equipment itself. Treating unused or seasonal equipment before storage helps protect moving components from seizing and ensuring the equipment is ready to use when needed.
Having one product (FLUID FILM) which can serve as a lubricant, penetrant and rust/corrosion preventive saves time, money and helps reduce wear and tear on equipment. Containing a unique lanolin base and being completely solvent free, FLUID FILM will not burn greenery or freeze, making it perfect for year round maintenance.
The beauty of the landscape is a big part of the golfing experience. FLUID FILM helps to maintain that beauty and focus on environmental quality when used on golf course equipment. Reaching an exceptional caliber of performance, FLUID FILM is the tournament champion of maintenance products.

Applications in the Lawn & Garden Industry
Hedge Trimmers & Clippers
FLUID FILM is an excellent lubricant and corrosion preventive on trimmers and clippers. It penetrates deeply, keeping the blades well lubricated. FLUID FILM will also not burn greenery on cutting devices and keeps sap and debris from sticking to blades for easy cleanup.
I’ve tried every spray lubricant and antioxidant on the market and never found one which could ‘do it all’ until I found FLUID FILM. Our pruners stay sharp due to no rust and the hinges glide…. sap doesn’t even stick when pruning evergreens!

Mowers
One area for equipment health that should be checked regularly is under the decks of mowers. When dirt and debris (lawn clippings, etc.) build-up and aren’t removed they can quickly corrode the deck, shorten the life of the bearings in the spindles and also contribute to lawn disease. FLUID FILM can be applied over a damp surface and will leave a non-drying film, cutting off all oxygen from the surface and creating a barrier of protection that prevents all corrosion from occurring. Because of its non-drying characteristics, FLUID FILM also works as a release agent, helping to keep grass and debris from sticking, making clean-up a breeze. FLUID FILM will also shine up metals and plastics, keeping equipment appearance sharp and professional.
I wouldn’t trust anything other than FLUID FILM to protect my mowers and vehicles. It protects my trucks, trailers, and lawn mowers from rust and corrosion. I also love to use it as a lubricant in my leaf vacuum, on my garage door rollers, on the snow plow and snow blowers, or anything else that has moving parts. It works great to protect the underside of my mowers and greatly reduces grass buildup! The best part is that it is non-toxic so it does not hurt plant material when I use it on my mowers, hedge trimmers, etc.

Fertilizer Spreaders
For Fertilizer Spreaders, maintenance is a must. Hose out spreader after use to remove all seed and fertilizers, than apply a coat of FLUID FILM. FLUID FILM will not harm most paints or plastics, and will provide complete corrosion control for all metals.
As owner of a Lawn and Landscaping Company, one of my biggest concerns is the problems being caused by corrosion to our equipment being exposed to the elements. (FLUID FILM) is by far the best lubricant/corrosion preventative on the market. The lasting power of this product is awesome. Many thanks to the folks at FLUID FILM for making an excellent product at an affordable price. It definitely makes my job so much easier.

Winterizing
Equipment not properly maintained or suitably stored during the cold-weather months can end up raising costs substantially by the time spring rolls around. Heavy equipment needed during winter months require extra attention. Proper maintenance during these periods can help reduce the stresses involved with the cold-weather season. Battery requirements are also greater during winter months while their output is less, so proper battery care is an important part of equipment maintenance. FLUID FILM will effectively stop any corrosion from occurring, allowing batteries to perform at optimum expenditure during this period. For equipment being stored indoors or out, a liberal dose of FLUID FILM prevents any corrosion from occurring. For equipment stored near fertilizers, FLUID FILM protects all metals from atmospheric exposure.
I use it on the mowers, string trimmers, gas hedge clippers, pole saw blade, hand pruners, sidewalls on tires, rims, undercoated the trucks with it, locks, hinges, polished the plastic bug deflector on the truck, coated all the lights on the light rack, the mirrors and brackets(minus the glass), tailgate latches, rust spots on the trucks to keep them from getting worse until we can fix them, the receiver hitch, dipped the trailer balls and shank in it, dipped the extra balls then put them in a jar, polished the diamond plate toolboxes, use it on the CB antenna’s to keep ice from building up, the rams on the plows and plow pumps, gonna coat the blades once they get put on, I’ll use it in between 2 pieces of metal that are being bolted together, keeps drill bits from getting hot and smoking, helps drive spikes into 4×4’s, wiped it on my mailbox, sprayed some inside the socket before removing lug nuts and the nuts fall right out of the socket, anything that squeaks but shouldn’t, at work I’ve used it on the cardboard baler, the tracks on the bay doors, the hinges on the loading dock plates, a little on the plastic connection of the battery cables on the power jack and they slide in and out of each other like nothing, stopped the hinges and lock rod on the garbage shoot from squeaking and rusting, works great on saw blades, helps keep the blades sharp and cool. About the only place I don’t use it is anywhere you need to step/walk. Before I put the trailer away for the winter I crawl under it and undercoat that too. Helps repel the moisture from the wooden deck. Whether you spray, brush, dip, dab, glob, or dunk. Whether it’s a little bit or a generous coating: Fluid Film is the best!
